Pancreatitis is a fairly common disease. A special feature of this disease is acute pain in the stomach, as well as a violation of the quality of the pancreas.

To treat this disease, a special diet (therapy) was developed. It contains only one specially selected menu and allowed food. They will not harm the affected organism. What does the sample menu for one week look like?

Foods should be steamed, boiled or stewed, and in rare cases baked. Before use, it is imperative to cool it down to 30 degrees. This way you can avoid stomach irritation.

Salt should be used in the diet in minimal quantities and, if possible, then completely eliminated until organ activity returns to normal. Fish, meat and dairy products are used as the main products. The energy value of the menu per day should not exceed 1800 kcal.

It's best to prioritize liquid or semi-liquid foods, such as soups, mashed potatoes, cereals, etc. v. A strict diet of pancreatic disease must be followed for about 3 weeks after the attack has stopped. After that, the menu can continuously expand until you get back on your regular diet.

In the diet, cereals, vegetable soups, boiled / fresh vegetables, dry bread, meat, boiled eggs, poultry and fish (low-fat varieties only) are allowed, dairy products, non-sour fruits and berries, powdered products, cream / vegetable oils, natural jelly, fresh juices and preparations.

Under no circumstances should you forget water. A maximum of 2 liters of clean water is recommended per day. It will restore balance and improve bowel function.

During an exacerbation, you should minimize the use of carbonated water or eliminate it entirely. Additionally, canned foods, strong broths, fast foods, smoked / spicy foods, cakes, cocoa, berries and fruits, sauces, coffee, baked goods, eggs cooked in egg formsoft boiled or fried, fatty meat, fish.

2. The nutritional rule

There are a few rules to follow:

  • Eat only one consistent food (preferably homogeneous);
  • Keep your small sections;
  • Completely exclude smoked, sweet, fried, salty foods from the diet;
  • Try to eat as little fresh food (eg vegetables) as possible;
  • Drink as much liquid as possible (water, green tea, water color).

Dieting rules for acute exacerbations of the disease are similar to the chronic version. In the chronic course of the disease, fasting lasts several days (maximum).

3. Sample menu for one week

Menu is signed for time depending on the type of disease: acute pancreatitis - up to 9 months, chronic - for several years. At the same time, alcohol (even in small quantities), spices and bacon are necessarily excluded from the menu. Chocolate, like other sweets, is also prohibited (add only a small piece of marshmallow or a teaspoon of jelly for sweetness).

The selected menu takes into account the characteristics of the patient's body, and must contain a full range of beneficial substances for the body.

Please list a list of foods allowed in the diet:

  • Vegetables. Almost any vegetable can be on the menu (except beans and cabbage and others that cause gas). These vegetables can be used to prepare various side dishes and soups;
  • Curd. This product can be used for breakfast or snack. You can make cheesecake or casserole from it;
  • Compotes, fruit jelly. It can be apricots, apples, pears. If a person has exacerbations, pears should be excluded from the menu;
  • Fermented dairy products. All foods should be low in fat. It is allowed to fill salads with sour cream no more than twice a week;
  • Eggs. The menu can include steamed omelets, or boiled eggs without the yolks;
  • Meat. It is best to choose boiled chicken or steamed fish;
  • You can eat pasta no more than once a week;
  • Cereals. It's best to stop your choices of rice, oatmeal or semolina.

Monday

On the first day, it's best to stop eating altogether. Only water is consumed during the day. If the acute pain does not bother the patient, then the sample menu might look like this:

  • You can have a cup of green tea for breakfast (one teaspoon of honey can be added to the drink). Also allow 150 grams of semolina or rice porridge;
  • For the second breakfast, you can eat pumpkin puree (50g), steamed fish or chicken cutlets, rose hip drink;
  • For lunch, you can eat vegetables or chicken broth with a toast;
  • For an afternoon snack you can drink a glass of kefir or jelly;
  • Dinner with steamed omelet and beetroot salad;

Tuesday

If the pancreatitis is painless, you can cook any breakfast porridge (semolina, oatmeal or buckwheat).

  • The first breakfast consists of oatmeal cooked in milk, a piece of cheese and a glass of jelly (no added sugar);
  • For lunch, you can eat 100 grams of cheese (1% fat), which can be mixed with an apple;
  • At lunch you can eat boiled rice with a piece of fish. It must be steamed without failure;
  • For an afternoon snack, you can eat pureed apple or carrot sauce;
  • Dinner may consist of a jar of dietary vinegar with a small piece of bread (can be replaced with a loaf of bread).

Wed

  • On the third day of the diet you are allowed to eat a salad from apples, beets, seasoned with sour cream (so low in fat). You can drink green tea.
  • At lunch you can eat buckwheat porridge with a small butter and bread;
  • Lunch consists of rice soup and 2 pieces of cheese;
  • For an afternoon snack, you can drink a glass of fermented baked milk or kefir;
  • For dinner, one person can make mashed potatoes (without adding milk), bake vegetables and eat a slice of bread.

Thursday

  • For breakfast you can eat oatmeal, prepared with a small lump of butter. In addition, mineral water is still allowed;
  • At lunch you can eat steamed omelets and cutlets. In addition, you can also drink a glass of milk (fat ratio 1 or 2, 5%);
  • At lunch you can eat a bowl of soup with a small piece of fish. As a side dish, you can cook zucchini or carrots;
  • You can bake an apple for an afternoon snack;
  • Dinner includes curd rice pudding and light tea (you can add milk).

Friday

  • In the morning you can eat rice porridge and a boiled egg (must not have the yolk);
  • The second breakfast consists of tea and a small piece of cheese;
  • Lunch can include homemade pho, pumpkin porridge or carrot porridge. You can also drink a glass of milk or tea;
  • An afternoon snack of low-fat cottage cheese with added sour cream;
  • During dinner, you can enjoy a salad with oil (preferably olives), a baked apple and a cup of tea with a teaspoon of sugar.

Saturday

  • For the first breakfast, you can make a steamed omelet with vegetables. Processed dishes can be supplemented with a glass of milk;
  • For the second breakfast, you can cook buckwheat porridge with fish (boiled);
  • At lunch, you can eat milk soup and green tea;
  • For an afternoon snack, you can enjoy a rose drink;
  • For dinner, you can cook vegetables with potatoes (boiled), fruit jelly or pudding.

Sunday

Once your symptoms improve, you can diversify your menu.

  • At breakfast, you can eat a small piece of bread with butter, cheese. You can drink it all with a glass of green tea;
  • If a person has mild pain, then for lunch you can boil a small piece of chicken with carrot. Alternatively, you can also eat a small piece of bread. You can drink it with sugar-free tea or mineral water;
  • At lunch you can eat vegetable soup, mashed potatoes and boiled cutlets. From beverages, tea without sugar or kefir is allowed;
  • For an afternoon snack you can drink jelly with some crackers;
  • For dinner you can make fish stew and carrot juice.

5. Formulas

  1. Chopped meat. For cooking, we need to take chicken breast (about 200 g), bread (30 g), milk (3 tablespoons), a little oil (preferably olive oil), a little salt. All ingredients must be mixed. Make a cut of minced meat. Put them in a double boiler, fill with water and close the lid. Cook until cooked.
  2. Rosehip Drinks. To prepare this broth, you will need 0. 5 kg of fruit and 4 liters of water. We wash the rose hip and fill it with water. Let it infuse for four days. You do not need to boil drinking water, rose hip should be soaked at room temperature. Such drinks are rich in vitamin C. Since the drink is very acidic, you should consult your doctor before use.
